Phenikaa University has just become an official member of the Asia Technological University Network (ATU-NET). So far, Phenikaa University is proud to be the first and only university in Vietnam to join the ATU-NET, along with many other universities from 15 Asian countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, The Philippines, India.
Joining ATU-NET, Phenikaa University has the opportunity to participate in student and faculty exchanges, strategic cooperation in research, innovation, creativity, start-up contests for students.
Phenikaa University aims to become a multi-disciplinary university, excellent in training, research, entrepreneurship and career orientation. Therefore, in addition to traditional disciplines such as: Banking and Finance, English Language, Nursing, Pharmacy; the university has always been a pioneer in training technical and technology disciplines to catch up with the demand of the modern world such as: Information Technology; Materials Science and Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Circuit Design, Embedded Systems and IoT, Metrachonic Engineering, Biomedical Engineering.
Staff members, faculty staff and students of Phenikaa University have the opportunity to participate in network activities such as: Student and faculty exchange programmes, strategic cooperation in research, innovation, start-up contests for students. In addition, the university as well as its member organisations can also exchange information and knowledge via seminars, conferences, annual presidential forums and board meetings.
Joining ATU-NET also provides an opportunity for Phenikaa University to expand its network of international partners, especially universities that excel in technology research and training. The university has been building strategic cooperation with other network members such as Daffodil International University (Bangladesh), Madras Institute of Technology (India), Kanpur Institute of Technology (India).
Asia Technological University Network (ATU-Net) is a strategic international alliance of which Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) is the Chair. It was established on 9th August 2016 during the 8th University Presidents Forum at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Johor Bahru, Malaysia, with the purpose of connecting technology-focused institutions of higher learning in Asia. Its mission is to support member universities in achieving world-class quality of education and research in engineering and technology through strategic international alliance.
